Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)

28 March 2017 - Inflation rates are staying under control in low-income countries, in absence of a real recovery of the global economic activity. However, Vietnam continues suffering from inflationary pressure, compared with a much more stable India, depressed by the demonetization process. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar, the euro and the Sterling is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
