Inflation in Emerging Countries (Monthly Report)

26 February 2018 - Inflation rates in most emerging countries have remained within target in January. A stronger global economic growth in the coming months may push up consumer prices to higher levels in developed countries, whereas inflation rates in low-income countries are likely to remain modest. Our monthly report offers a comparison of inflation rates in low-cost countries, with historical data available back to June 2007. Impact of currency changes vs the US dollar, the euro and the Sterling is also calculated to assess real terms of trade for exporters.
