E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)

25 June 2018 - EU's clothing imports have surged in April, with shipments from Bangladesh sharply rising from their already high level whereas Chinese exports to the European Union were losing ground. Unit prices of Chinese shipments have surged in dollar terms, but the current fall of the renminbi and the euro could now change the picture. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs woven clothing. Data are supplied in euro and in US dollars with historical data available for download, back to January 2000.
