Wool Prices in Australia (Weekly Report)

13 July 2018 - Wool prices have further declined this week in Australia probably due to a new fall of the renminbi resulting in higher wool prices in yuan terms. Over the long term, a persistent and severe drought in Australia should result in lower wool production, at least supporting prices at their currently high levels by historical standards. Our report delivers a comprehensive view of wool prices in Australia, with a long list of micron types in A$, US$ and euro terms. Historical charts are also available, such as downloadable historical data. Links to weekly market reports in New Zealand and South Africa are provided.
