India Yarn Prices: Domestic and Export Markets (Weekly Report)

3 October 2018 - Spun yarn prices have stopped declining in the last seven days in India, partly due to a reduced market activity in observance of Gandhi Jayanti. Cotton and polyester prices could remain very firm in the coming period, meaning that yarn prices would not significantly decline. Yarn prices are compared with fiber prices offering latest trends of spinners' margins. Market fundamentals are available on a monthly basis, including production and exports.
