U.S. Apparel Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)

9 October 2018 - US apparel imports from Vietnam have continued slowing down in August, due to a more significant rise of their average unit price. Chinese shipments have even slightly declined in volume terms whereas imports from other nations were benefiting from the difficulties of the two largest suppliers of the US apparel market, reflecting an ongoing diversification of US apparel sourcing.
