Indonesia Apparel Exports in 4th Quarter and Full 2017 (Country Report)

13 April 2018 - Indonesian apparel exports have rebounded in the last quarter of 2017 but mostly due to a worrying surge of unit prices. The low-cost country remains plagued by aging machinery and poor electrical grid whereas however benefiting from a development of man-made fiber apparel production. The return of the United States to the TPP process would boost competition from Vietnam, nevertheless. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive picture of Indonesia's textile and clothing exports and imports, per month, year and destination, with an exhaustive review of US and EU imports per product category.
